Dr. Beverly Gaines is the President and CEO of Beverly M. Gaines, M.D. & Associates P.S.C., a Primary Care pediatric practice located in the Highlands area of Louisville, Kentucky that was established in April of 1984.

Dr. Gaines’ lifelong dream was to be a great pediatrician to all children and to address the disparities in the health status of children without regard to socioeconomic status, race, ethnicity or access to health care. She works very hard for her patients in the office but also works in the community with children and their families to promote health education as a means to improve health status and health outcomes.

Dr. Gaines enjoys all of her patient visits, however, her great passions are working with parents raising their children to become healthy young adults, working with children with chronic conditions towards optimal health and teaching young health professionals to become great practitioners and healthcare advocates.

Instilled with a deep desire to give back, Dr. Gaines has served in various roles here in the Louisville community, the Commonwealth of Kentucky and on national and international fronts. A graduate of The Rockefeller Emerging Leaders in Healthcare Exchange and Leadership Louisville, she has served in a number of leadership capacities on boards, committees and holding office in many local and national health organizations.
